Election 2010: Awaiting the result

 

Like many Australians, Cancer Council's Get Behind Bowel Screening campaign team is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the General Election on Saturday 21 August 2010.

Once the Members of the 43rd Parliament of Australia have all been announced, together with our supporters, we will resume efforts to let each and every one know that bowel cancer screening is an important issue in their electorate.

It is time for the next Australian Government to do what it takes to really tackle our second biggest cancer killer and save 30 lives per week. Expansion of the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program cannot wait for another term.
