Who's making a noise?

Sally's story

I thought I was really fit and well when I woke up one morning with a stomach ache - my bowel had burst from a tumour - I had just turned 44. Six years on, I have had metastatic disease four times, in my pelvis and in my lung. I have had numerous operations and different chemotherapy regimes. While my prognosis is very poor, I feel blessed indeed to have lasted this long and to have turned 50, my doctors are amazed I have made it this far. I have had the most incredible support and I am a positive person but it hasn't been an easy road. When I think that such a simple screen can save others from going through what I have - I want to make a lot of noise!
